Jesus Is Passing By

Jesus [Our Living Water] is walking toward Jerusalem for His final time—headed to His crucifixion.
The streets are packed with people. Over to the side is a blind man begging. In the noise, he cries out, “Jesus, Son of David! Have mercy on me!” The crowd tells him [and us today] to be quiet. But Jesus stops, takes note and asks an important question.
As a result of faith, blindness is healed. His first sighting is Jesus. We discover the condition, conviction, compassion. God’s immediate grace, and joy in God’s glorious gift.
