Over the course of thousands of years, people's natures really haven't changed that much. When left to our own devices, life tends to spiral out of control as we make one mistake after another. You may not know why that is, but you can't deny that's life for you. The Bible doesn't shy-away from that reality, but instead tells the dirty stories of what that creates in the world, and the book of Judges does so in painful detail.
We'll spend the next few months slowly walking through these stories of Broken Saviors whom God raises-up to deliver His people from enemy after enemy, tracking their short-lived successes due to people's innate inability to follow God with a whole heart.
How'd We Get Here?

How to Fight Well
Judges 2:6-3:6 / January 18, 2026
-----------------------------------------
So often in life, we just feel stuck in our battle against the temptations and demons that hold us down, and we get so upset about the brokenness and crud we see in the world, right?
Well, the people of Israel were in the same boat, and we can learn a few lessons from their struggles in how to fight sin well. Grab your Bibles and join Jeremy for a study of Judges 2:6-3:6.
Who Gets the Credit?
Judges 3:7-11 / January 25, 2026
-----------------------------------------
In this sermon, we see the first judge for Israel--Othniel. We don't know much about his life or the circumstances of God's people, but we do know that Israel was in deep trouble, and God was not going to give up on them. Learn who the real hero of this moment is, and what that might mean for you, too.
Unlikely Saviors
Judges 4:1-24 / February 08, 2026
-----------------------------------------
Sometimes, or oftentimes, God likes to use the unlikely to accomplish his plans. It's not the ones we expect who God chooses, and that's on purpose.
Study that lesson from Judges 4 with Pastor Jeremy, and consider how God may want to use you to accomplish something, too.
Sing Already!
Judges 5:1-31 / February 15, 2026
-----------------------------------------
Singing in church -- and musical styling -- is a hotly debated topic, and has been since God birthed the church at Pentecost. Truthfully, musically styles change, and so should churches. Yet, the reasons churches sing do not change.
In this message on Judges 5, Pastor Jeremy unpacks a biblical worship song, and the 5 reasons why Christians sing -- no matter what style the music has.
Are You Ready?
Judges 6:1-40 / February 22, 2026
-----------------------------------------
Gideon is an interesting character, not because of a rockstar spirituality we often idolize, but for his relatable ebbs and flows in faith. Watch as explore Gideon’s judgeship through a central question — are you ready for what God wants to do?
Faith in the Weaver
Judges 7:1-25 / March 01, 2026
-----------------------------------------
In this second sermon from the Gideon story, we see God expand his role from a local leader to a national defender. All the while, God doubled-down on His promises to use Gideon, while making the circumstances more and more difficult. Why does he do this? Watch Pastor Jeremy unpack this passage to learn more.
From the Penthouse to the Outhouse
Judges 8:1-35 / March 08, 2026
-----------------------------------------
The goal in the Christian life is not just to start strong, but to continue strong and most importantly finish strong. We see in this passage that the judge Gideon didn't finish strong. We can learn from his mistakes and leave a lasting Godly impression on those who follow us.
