Advent is a season of arrival and awaiting; arrival refers to both the first coming of Jesus over 2000 years ago, as well as the second coming when he reclaims the world at the right time. Advent is also a season of awaiting as we anticipate that second coming of Christ. So, this Christmas season we are setting our eyes on the first arrival, as we set our hearts to hope in the second arrival.
Impossible, Meet Unstoppable
Luke 1:1-4, 26-38 / November 30, 2025
-----------------------------------------
As we begin the Christmas season, let's use the term--"Advent", which gets us away from gift-giving hustle and bustle, and towards awaiting the second coming of Jesus as we reflect on his first coming.
In this first Advent season sermon, Pastor Jeremy shows how Christmas is where impossible meets unstoppable in the birth of Christ.
I Was a Nobody
Luke 1:46-56 / December 07, 2025
-----------------------------------------
A great relationship that starts with God is never more seen than through Mary, the mother of Jesus. But it points to in many ways the relationship that God wants to have with us.
Who Is Your King?
Luke 2:1-7 / December 14, 2025
-----------------------------------------
In Luke 2:1–7, we see how God speaks through the real circumstances of history to accomplish His redemptive purposes, reminding us that Christmas is both deeply historical and profoundly history-making. From Caesar’s census to Joseph and Mary’s difficult journey and Jesus’ humble birth, God proves He is sovereign over empires, roads, and ordinary moments alike.
This sermon invites us to discern God’s voice in our own circumstances and to respond by trusting and embracing Jesus, the humble Savior who stepped into our world to rescue us.
The Journey to Town
Luke 2:8-20 / December 21, 2025
-----------------------------------------
Sometimes we make the Gospel, especially the Christmas story, more complicated than it really is. There is simplicity in the people and the events of Christmas. From the shepherds, the message, to the mystery, God's love in a manger is simple.
What Do You Pursue?
Luke 2:41-50 / December 28, 2025
-----------------------------------------
As we close-out the 2025 Advent season, Pastor Jeremy preached on a moment in the life of Jesus where he displayed unwavering commitment to pursue God. The interesting part -- it was as a 12 year old. Watch to see what drove Jesus, and how that might impact your life too.
